Drugs Warrant Executed in Stratford

Members of the community told us about possible drug dealing taking place at a flat in Bishopton. We listened. 

We used those reports to ask a Judge to grant us a Warrant to enter and search the property. This warrant was conducted this morning with a dozen police vehicles in attendance. Under the watch of our drone high above, officers swiftly put on a containment and forced entry into the property.  

Following a search of the address and its occupants, a small amount of cannabis was recovered, alongside a selection of pills and a nasty looking hatchet. Criminal investigations have been raised for prosecutions and evidence will be supplied to the local housing provider for a breach of a Civil Injunction which was discovered by police on attendance.  

We are working very closely with the housing provider to help bring about a long term solution to the ongoing concerns of local residents. 

Drug supply is a very real issue and we need your help to combat it. Todays warrant would not have happened without information reports from members of the public.
